Ray of hope
27 Years of fragmented memories forces a woman to return to her land of birth in a post war country among people who wish to see her disappeared.
32-year-old Rathika Sitsabaiesan, a Canadian Member of Parliament with the opposition party, the New Democrat Party, takes a leave of absence from her designation to visit her birthplace of “Sri Lanka” as a private citizen 27 years after her exodus. All she wants is to see her birthplace, her family and to witness the effects of the recently ended civil war in Sri Lanka. What was supposed to be civil, became an all-out adventure filled with political intrigue, suspense, and drama as Rathika encounters intense surveillance, political interrogation, and an attempted arrest in a place she once called home.
